Notification History
This Privacy Policy explains how Notification History handles information when you use the app.
1. Information We Process
- Notification content and metadata: title, body, timestamp, app/package name, and related metadata needed for history features.
- Optional media metadata/previews: if media monitoring is enabled, the app may store references/previews required to render media-type history entries.
- App preferences: your local settings (filters, blacklist, retention, display options, etc.).
- Diagnostics and analytics: aggregated usage and crash diagnostics via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
- Push token: an FCM registration token to deliver push notifications (if enabled).
2. How Information Is Used
- Provide notification history, filtering, grouping, search, and backup/restore features.
- Improve app reliability and performance through crash reporting and analytics.
- Deliver push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
3. Storage and Retention
- Notification history is stored locally on your device by default.
- Retention and auto-delete behavior are controlled by your in-app settings.
- If you create backups, backup files are stored in locations you choose.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by service providers required for core functionality: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
5. Permissions
- Notification access: required to read and store notifications in your local history.
- Notification permission (Android 13+): required to show app notifications/push notifications.
- Storage/document access: required only for backup/restore and optional media features.
6. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards to protect data stored and processed by the app. No method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
